The challenge
Countable Labs had their own design ideas, aiming for a clean, academic, and publication-inspired look to establish credibility with a scientific audience. They needed a Webflow partner who could execute their vision and:
- Build responsive mobile layouts for every page.
- Design and build additional pages beyond the original set as requirements arose.
- Create custom Lottie animations to elevate the user experience.
- Deliver a production-ready Webflow build.

Our approach
Flowout and Countable Labs partnered in April 2025. The initial project involved building the site in Webflow from Countable Labs' designs, with Flowout managing mobile design, supplementary pages, and Lottie animations. The site launched in May 2025.
Following the launch, the partnership transitioned into an ongoing development retainer covering site maintenance, new page builds, design support, and custom Lottie animations. Key highlights of the collaboration include:
- Resources Hub: Built and refined a scaled filtering system enabling visitors to filter webinars, e-books, posters, brochures, application notes, and case studies by topic and format.
- Pre-designed assays library: Constructed a filterable assay library featuring a dual gated-content structure, routing visitors to direct access requests or document downloads based on their selection.
- Modular component system: Transitioned to a component-level handoff workflow. Countable Labs provides designs for new sections, which Flowout builds into reusable Webflow components for independent page assembly.

Key features delivered
Full Webflow build
Translated publication-inspired designs into a responsive Webflow site with custom mobile layouts and Lottie animations.
Filterable resources hub
Structured a multi-format content library with an expandable filtering system.
Gated assay library
Developed a filterable assay catalog featuring two distinct conversion paths per entry.
Ongoing design & animation
Delivered continuous production of custom Lottie animations and visual polish across growing site sections.
Reusable component library
Provided modular Webflow components empowering Countable Labs to launch pages independently.

The results
Countable Labs launched its Webflow site in May 2025, one month after project kickoff. The platform has expanded to feature a resources hub and dual-gated assay library. Operating on a continuous base, the component-based workflow allows Countable Labs to ship new pages independently without waiting on dedicated development cycles.

Why Flowout
Flowout functions as an embedded Webflow team for companies requiring a long-term partnership over a one-off build. For Countable Labs, the engagement evolved from a launch-focused mobile and animation project into an ongoing, component-driven system. Flowout's standardized development process allows Countable Labs to scale its web presence efficiently without expanding internal headcount.
