The challenge
Band's Webflow site no longer matched the product. Rebate management is hard to explain, and the old homepage did not make it easy to understand. The site had no visuals of how the system really works, from agreement setup to calculating, claiming and tracking rebates. Band serves established distributors, manufacturers and buying groups, and the site needed to look as credible as its customers.
Timing added pressure. A successful industry conference sent a wave of prospects to the old site, so the new one had to go live fast.
Band asked Flowout to:
- Redesign the homepage so prospects quickly understand what Band is all about
- Explain the product through three animated concepts instead of long copy
- Keep what already worked: analytics, HubSpot forms, cookie consent, llms.txt and key SEO terms
- Launch a v1 the team can build on
The product logic was complex, and every animation had to stay accurate. Band's team was hands-on and set high standards for both visuals and copy. Copy and layout kept evolving in their Notion doc while design was underway.

Our approach
Band came in prepared, with a detailed copy outline and homepage brief of their own. Our job was to turn a technical product into a homepage and animations that a prospect understands in seconds.
We worked in four phases:
- Design exploration: The kickoff call led straight into the first homepage designs.
- Storyboards: We storyboarded each animation frame by frame with Band's team before production. This kept the product logic accurate.
- Development: We built the homepage and hero animation on staging in our Webflow environment.
- Review and launch: We closed a final punch list with Band and cut the site over to their Webflow plan.

Key features delivered
Three custom product animations
Lottie animations that show how Band works. The hero animation shows the whole workflow at a glance. Feature stories cover topics such as true margin and supplier program impact.
Animations tuned for every screen
Speed and zoom focus adjusted so each animation reads clearly on desktop and mobile.
A homepage built around the product
The page structure follows how Band works and adds real customer logos and a customer quote reel.
Book-a-demo page
A dedicated contact page with the HubSpot form restyled to match the new design.
Legal page template
A reusable template for terms of service and other legal pages.
Audience pages
Pages for distributors, manufacturers and buying groups, carried over from the live site and updated.
Nothing lost in the switch
Google Analytics, HubSpot, cookie consent and llms.txt carried over. Key SEO terms such as "rebate management software" stayed in the new copy to protect rankings.

The results
Band's new homepage went live on joinband.com about three and a half weeks after kickoff, while interest from the conference was still high. The product now explains itself visually. Prospects understand rebate management before their first sales call.
“Rebate management and special pricing agreements are hard to explain on a homepage. Flowout has excellent design sense and storyboarded every animation with us until the product logic was right. The new site was live in under four weeks, and prospects have complimented it and told us it makes it easy to understand what we do.” Ilia Papas, CEO, Band
Band's team can now:
- Show how the whole product works on a single page
- Send prospects to a clear book-a-demo page tied into HubSpot
- Build on a v1 site without losing analytics, consent or SEO setup
