Challenges: A legacy CMS slowing down marketing and growth
Replicant came to Flowout with a clear priority: escape the bottlenecks of WordPress. Their marketing team was struggling to add or update content quickly due to the platform’s rigidity, lack of component structure, and increasing technical debt.
Though they wanted to preserve the look and structure of the existing site, the backend needed a complete overhaul, plus improvements in performance, SEO, and content velocity.
The scope included:
- Creating a custom PDF-generating calculator
- Migrating 100+ static pages and 250+ blog posts
- Partnering with an SEO agency to ensure optimized migration
- Introducing scalable component-based architecture via Webflow
- Rebuilding 17 CMS collections, including complex filters and logic

Our solution
Flowout acted as both the Webflow development team and the technical liaison between Replicant’s internal team and their SEO agency. The goal was to translate their WordPress structure into Webflow - preserving layout and function - while building a better system.

Implementation highlights
Full-site migration from WordPress to Webflow
We rebuilt the entire site 1:1 in Webflow, including static pages, blog content, and 17 custom CMS collections. Every URL was accounted for with proper 301 redirects.
Custom PDF calculator tool
We developed a fully interactive calculator that generates downloadable PDF reports based on user input. It added real value to the site, helping visitors better understand product fit and ROI.
Webflow CMS architecture (from scratch)
The original WordPress setup lacked standardized content blocks or reusable components. We restructured everything into clean Webflow CMS collections, including:
- Blog
- Industries
- Use cases
- Resources
- Events
- Case studies
- Integrations
- Customer quotes
Performance and SEO upgrades
- Optimized slugs and metadata structure
- Better Lighthouse scores thanks to Webflow performance gains
- Structured content strategy for faster publishing by the marketing team
Global styles and components
We introduced a standardized system using Webflow’s global classes, making the site modular and scalable, an essential improvement over the previous legacy WordPress setup.
Ongoing support & maintenance
Following the migration, Replicant retained Flowout for continuous work:
- New landing pages for campaigns
- Reusable custom templates for marketing
- A redesigned homepage (based on internal brand evolution)

The results
The migration to Webflow fundamentally improved how Replicant’s marketing team operates. By freeing them from WordPress limitations and delivering a flexible, component-driven CMS, Flowout enabled faster iteration, stronger SEO performance, and a better experience.
Since the launch, Replicant has cut content publishing time significantly, improved site speed and SEO metrics, streamlined page creation through reusable components, and continued working with Flowout for design implementation and dev support.
"We had great communication, collaboration, flexibility, and execution across the board."
The website migration is a success, and the client has seen a significant improvement in performance score within the first week of going live. Flowout's team is highly responsive, communicative, and transparent throughout the process. Overall, they've delivered high-quality work at a fast pace.
